What is the "Clean Air" program and how to use it?

The government's pilot program called "Clean Air" was launched in 2018. Its completion is scheduled for 2029. The main goal of the program is to significantly reduce the emission of harmful compounds into the atmosphere, which are the result of burning very low-quality products and the use of old-fashioned furnaces. Pollution is one of the main problems of the whole of Poland, which is one of the darkest spots on the map of Europe itself.

More about Clean Air goals

The Clean Air program has developed over the last few years. Thanks to this, today we can obtain funding for such purposes as replacement of old heat sources with new ones (they must meet the requirements of the project), insulation of the building partition, replacement of door and window joinery, installation or modernization of central heating installations, as well as DHW, renewable energy installations (solar collectors or solar panels) ), as well as the installation of mechanical ventilation with heat recovery.

Thanks to a wide range of possibilities, we can modernize various elements of our home. All this to reduce the emission of harmful dust to our atmosphere and improve the air condition, which is still at a bad level in Poland.

How to use the Clean Air program?

An application should be made for a grant that is granted to owners of single-family houses or apartments with a separate land and mortgage register. The condition is also to be a natural person.

When completing the application, remember about the list of necessary documents that are required by WFOŚiGW (we can find it on their website). Documents confirming our income are also very important.

We sign a contract for financing. Then we are waiting for its final. The Fund informs about the positive consideration of our application.

After obtaining the necessary funds, remember about the visit of the representative of the Fund, who is to confirm the implementation of the planned works. Another control is also possible for up to 3 years.
