How to build a house on an agricultural plot?
An agricultural plot is much cheaper than a standard building plot and is often located in a nicer neighborhood. But what should be done to be able to build a house on such a plot?
Requirements for farmers
Individual farmers are the most privileged group to build a house on an agricultural plot.
However, they must have properly documented agricultural qualifications and no more than 300 hectares of land on which they run the farm. They should also undertake to undertake activities consistent with the local spatial development plan.
Requirements for non-farmers
If we are not farmers or their relatives, then we can only purchase agricultural land smaller than 30 ares. In the case of a larger area of land, we have to prove to the Agricultural Property Agency that we have not been able to find another, compliant buyer.
